Boof ‎– The Hydrangeas Whisper (2015, Label: Running Back). (30/03). Album 2015 per il producer americano Maurice Fulton sotto l'alias Boof, progetto partito sul finire degli anni 90.

The Hydrangeas Whisper è un album insieme ritmico e rilassante, dinamico ma circolare e con sonorità tendenzialmente smooth e rilassanti, per non dire solari.

Ci sono anche tante influenze jazz (Cat Soulcat Strut) e disco/funky (Birgit Boogie), che esaltano la strumentazione live che accompagna la sovrastante elaborazione elettronica dei brani. Possiamo così, nell'ascolto dell'album, apprezzare le ritmiche percussive dei bonghi della tech house di Backlash, il piano jazz di Emi's M, l'assolo di organo in Pete Found His Z e la chitarra chilly della deep house Intro To It's Sunny S Outside.

Non mancano brani che si palleggiano tra dub techno, ambient techno ed IDM (Pete Found His Z, The Hydrangeas Whisper e Tomoko's O). La poliedricità dimostrata da Fulton nell'album sembra un po' pagare la mancanza di un vero fulcro, ma al contempo la produzione del suono sembra miracolosamente tenere.
