News from Nuremberg Toyfair 2014 - Part 01 Hasegawa

Sadly there weren't so much News. Here's what caught my Attention:

This year the Blechmann / MK 44 (a chracter from Robot Battle V / a sci-fi secries closely related to Maschinen Krieger) was presented in prototype form. Actually Hasegawa intended to release the kit in the 4th quarter of 2013 but kept posponing the release. The new release date is set to 2nd quarter of 2014 / Price: TBD.

In this shot the details and overall finish of the individual parts are obvious. As you can see the feet are already 1st shot / tooled parts whereas the rest of the prototype almost entirely consists of 3D printed parts.

The Camel got the acclaimed Modell des Jahres Award by German Modelling Magazine "ModellFan".

Also on display were the Falke, Nutcracker (w/ Melusine and Gustav in 1/35th scale), Lunadiver Stingray and Großer Hund Kyklop. See subsequent photos for details.

A beautiful example of a great WWII plane is this stunning example of Kawanishi's Shiden-Kai (George). Also from Hasegawa. The kit includes a seated pilot figure as well as an incredibly detailed engine. A nice tooling/enginnering feature is that you can slide the Cockpit in after (!) you have finished the airplane. The wings are also detachable after assembly. Nice!

Parts layout and packaging of the Kawanishi Shiden-Kai (George) in 1/32nd scale.

Very crisp detailing on the engine and interior.

Very nice ...

Lunadiver Stingray (Ma.K. / SF3D) in 1/35th scale

5 "old" Ma.K./SF3D releases together with the new Blechmann / MK44 (Robot Battle V) kit on the mid right.

New release scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2014: The 2nd ship of TV Anime series Captain Harlock from the late 70s. A very special design with intricate detail in 1:1500th scale. Just the part layout and sprues (no actual, finished model was on display).

1/35 Nutcracker kit (Comes together with these two tiny in-scale suits: Melusine and Gustav) as well as Großer Hund Kyklop.
